Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I) and Haskell Invitational (gr. I) runner-up Hard Spun worked at Delaware Park Aug. 19 in preparation for the $250,000 King’s Bishop Stakes (gr.I) at Saratoga Aug. 25.

Hard Spun, who has finished in the money in all but one of his last five efforts, breezed four furlongs in :47-flat for trainer Larry Jones. It was the 3-year-old colt’s first work since finishing second in the Aug. 5 Haskell. (via Hard Spun News)
